Mother of three, wife, sister, daughter, aunty, friend, creator, a part of her community on Waiheke: Timmy is passionate about her roles in life and understands the importance of celebrating and honouring all aspects of a person.

She has travelled an eclectic working life from park ranger to youth worker, waitress to wedding co-ordinator, tutor to mum – always entering positions of service. The Hauraki Gulf, Auckland, New Zealand has always been her playground – revealing how nature and its surrounds interact yet keep their own form and function. These are aspects she consistently uses with her work and life.

A self taught creator, Timmy loves the ability for jewellery to hold memory; she is constantly amazed at how something so small and subtle can contain such a wealth of treasures and work as a touchstone for a precious person, place or occasion. Each piece created becomes an outward expression of an inner holding, a way to honour those who have given standing and presence to those it adorns.

Timmy’s understanding of the importance of honouring stems from when she first realised she had been gifted a name in memory of one who had made such a difference in this world, even though her time on this earth was cut short. The simplicity and depth of Timmy’s work and the space she has developed is testament to her evolved understanding of people and their needs.

Feel free to contact Timmy to discuss encasing of your own precious keepsakes and stories.
