Believe - The Final Destination

I am pretty sure I have written something on this before but it’s been something that I needed reminding of so here is a little piece foraged as a reminder 

So much work needs to happen before I can truly believe.

For me, ‘believe’ is more than what the dictionary definition gives us.

It is the power to be,  and to leave the rest.

Be-leave

To stand within who you truly are.

To form your own world, to craft what is needed, and to leave behind what no longer belongs.

Leave the coats of concern,

the boots that made your footsteps heavy,

the belts that tightened your capacity instead of allowing it to breathe and expand.

Instead, believe that standing within yourself is enough.

That you don’t need all the armour you once thought you did.

Because perhaps the greatest fortitude is simply knowing who you are, being fully within it, and trusting that this is enough to carry you forward.

Believe. The final destination for a new beginning.
