Honoured our whānau with his loyalty love and ways
He was part of everything we did
From home life to work life to boating to buddies
He was and always will be our therapy dog
The touch point we were told to house to enable deep healing to occur
The remedy for pain
The bandaid for heartache
The thermometer of change
I am still a tumble of words and feelings and this writing is an attempt to clarify my throbbing mind.
We all needed him - as he helped all who had time with him.
Calming those who needed regulating
Uplifting those who felt low
Loving those who’s hearts had been broken
He gave so much
To us all
The level of gratitude is beyond measure
So Teddy your little bounce may not be heard along our floors but your offerings will always be felt across our hearts
