Kia ora e te whānau and friends,
It has been awhile since I have shared the words that arise when the heat (or sparkle) of tea fills my form.
I find writing to be a way to give rise to functional release and reflection and that a kaputī (cup of tea) is a beautiful way to get there.
I hope you are able to join me weekly, so I can gently share my tuhituhinga (writing) that bubble up from my kare ā-roto (inner thoughts) and self.
So if you can make time, pop the on kettle, (or crack a can of PAUSE) and snuggle in and enjoy the fruits of my kaputī.
Conversation with self.
I love life, I love my life...
I strive to give,
To build
To serve
and to learn about who I am and how my past is my future.
How I am the power of those who walked before me and the catalyst for the ones ahead.
I must not hide
I must be seen so my past is honoured and understood.
I must care and rise...
I must be part of the change.
